His DNA

Coming from a background of successful realtors, Halim developed a keen interest on the real estate market from a young age. He would regularly read the newspapers and online resources about Singapore’s dynamic real estate industry.

 

During the long break after his O Levels, Halim worked part time at PropNex. Such was his interest in real estate, that he opted to have his tertiary internship with PropNex. During the internship, he worked closely with the Marketing department.

 

After completing his National Service in 2014, Halim grabbed an available opportunity to work in PropNex International, which is the arm of PropNex that markets new local and overseas commercial and residential projects.

 

As a digital marketer with PropNex International, Halim promoted overseas projects in Australia, Cambodia, United Kingdom and Vietnam. With his determination and enthusiasm, Halim learnt how best to market on various platforms, that include websites and social media platforms.

 

In his 4 years working in PropNex International, Halim generated thousands of leads through his digital marketing campaigns. He was assigned a 6 digit budget to manage the marketing across digital channels.

 

With his experience at PropNex International, Halim learnt and understood the big picture of the real estate industry. This encompassed the entire real estate spectrum from developers’ pricing strategy to deal closing mechanics.

 

Together with this valuable knowledge and inspiration from PropNex’s CEO, Mr Ismail Gafoor, Halim decided to join PropNex Realty as a real estate person in 2018.

When Halim first started out as a real estate salesperson, he had his fair share of difficulties. Nevertheless, he tirelessly utilised various marketing mediums like door knocking, flyers, social media and telemarketing to create awareness and widen his clientele.

 

In today’s digital era, social media marketing has become the most efficient platform to reach out to a myriad of clients. Hence, Halim created Halim Gafoor Properties, which uses social media to market properties to the desired audience in the fastest way possible.

 

To best service a client, Halim believes that he needs to connect, build a relationship and understand their needs. As he understands that purchasing a property requires careful consideration and planning, he patiently engages them. Some of his clients revert to him 2-3 years after the first meeting, thus showing his dedicated service.

 

With Halim Gafoor Properties’ primary focus being the needs of the client, the clientele that Halim serves come from all walks of life. With a wide clientele base, the locations and properties that he helps his clients transact are equally wide. Halim has transacted resale HDBs, resale condominiums, new launch condominiums and landed for his clients across Singapore, thus earning him the moniker, D65 agent.

 

In recent times, Halim has transacted landed properties at Bukit Timah and Serangoon Gardens. As for condominiums, the transactions have been at Balestier and most of the East Coast, spanning from Meyer Road to Simei. The HDB resale deals that he has managed include Dawson, Serangoon, Eunos, Bedok and Tampines. In total, Halim has transacted more than 62 properties with total transaction value of more than $62 million.

Honest and Reliable Advice

One recent example of Halim depicting this value was when a client contacted him to buy a 2-bedroom unit at the Avenue South Residence project launch. After consulting and understanding her needs and finances, Halim advised her against purchasing the unit and recommended a 5 room HDB flat instead. The client was very grateful to Halim for his detailed and honest advice, which possibly prevented financial difficulties and stress in the near future.

One Stop Solution

A particular client comes to mind for Halim, who he managed the entire move from a landed house to a 2-bedroom condominium unit. The clients are a 70-year-old couple, who have been living in the landed property for many years. With their children married and moving out, the house has become rather big for the 2 of them. Hence, Halim understood their needs and advised on right sizing and cashing out of the property for their retirement. While the sale of the landed property was going through, Halim secured a cozy 2-bedroom condominium unit for them.

Customised Sales Strategies

The fastest closing that Halim helped his client to transact was for an apartment unit at The Verte, located in Telok Kurau. When Halim advertise the unit using specific digital marketing parameters, he garnered 50 interested enquiries. The icing on the cake was that the unit was sold in the first viewing and above valuation.

Halim’s unique marketing approach and his consistent performance were recognised in his recent interview by PropNex CEO Mr Ismail Gafoor in September 2021. The interview was aired on Facebook Live with many viewers and compliments through the Live Comments. In the interview, Halim shared on his special service to clients, especially his signature “Property Health Check”

 

Besides being recognised for his efforts and performance through the Facebook Live interview, Halim has consistently received sales awards. In 2021, he received the Platinum Achiever awards (For commissions above $100k in a singular month) on multiple occasions. This signifies that his strategies for clients synchronise with clients’ needs and objectives.

& Personal

With Halim being a realtor and his wife an Architectural Designer, the couple have a busy working schedule. Nevertheless, they ensure that they provide ample time to spend with their young daughter.

 

Given their interest for real estate, they often discuss how to value add Halim’s clients’ properties through design ideas, redesigning, spatial planning and technical knowledge from an architect’s point of view.

 

To relax and unwind, Halim and his wife goes for long walks daily. These walks give them the space and time to refresh and rejuvenate, while appreciating the Singapore architecture landscape and building design elements. This appreciation also translates into inspiration when serving their clients.

 

At times, Halim goes for cycling, which is a hobby that he has been having since young.
